The Copyright and Creative Industry Promotion Division (CCIPD) was established to support the growth of Bhutan’s creative economy while strengthening the protection and management of copyright and related rights. It recognizes the increasing role of creative industries in cultural preservation, innovation, employment generation, and economic diversification. As Bhutan’s creative sectors such as literature, film, music, visual arts, design, and digital content continue to expand, the Division provides a dedicated platform to support creators and safeguard their intellectual property rights.
